In today's highly competitive marketplace, successfully growing your sales revenues can be extremely challenging, sometimes frustrating and, of course, very rewarding. The purpose of our Sales Effectiveness Boot Camps is very simple: We're in the business to dramatically improve the odds of you and your business significantly increasing your revenues and your margins in the short term. This is the essence of Sales Effectiveness, and through our programs, we have developed models and processes that ensure that you can successfully scale your business.

Join us and a select group of sales leaders in a unique three day highly interactive program where you are guaranteed to walk away with improved strategies, tactics and an arsenal of ideas focused on dramatically improving your sales effectiveness as a manager, a leader and a contributor.

Derby Management has for 18 years been a leading business management coaching firm in New England focused on both emerging and middle market businesses. The coaches of Derby Management have directly impacted the success rates of more than 400 of their customers in a wide variety of markets and at equally diverse levels of size and growth.

This October's two and a half day program has been specifically designed for the Presidents, Sales leaders (at the district, regional or national levels), heads of Business Development and senior sales executives who are currently directly responsible for managing their 2008 sales plans and are about ready to launch into the rest of the year’s sales planning, execution and monthly forecasting.

Our job is to assist you in dramatically improving your ability to...

  • aggressively grow your revenues and margins.
  • accelerate your closing rates and reduce your sales cycles.
  • developing an integrated Sales architecture and sales processes.
  • create a team of unified warriors totally focused on success.
  • completely understanding the heart and soul of your customers.
  • fully embrace today's sales effectiveness technology tools.
  • create a totally integrated 2008 Sales Plan positioned for success.

We chose the term "Boot Camp" since this program is hands-on, highly interactive and totally focused on improving your sales and sales management skills, adding to your sales arsenal of tactical weapons, impacting your mental training and developing your preparation and stamina for what lies ahead in 2009.

Specifically developed for hands-on and highly interactive and learning, this program has been designed around a small number of Senior Sales Executives, Sales Management and General Management participants. The format includes extensive course materials, sales-specific case studies and guest speakers plus numerous opportunities for getting answers to your specific sales challenges with constructive feedback from the instructors and your fellow attendees.

Testimonials

Derby Management was with us at the very beginning of our new business. We worked hand in hand on the business plan and the Sales Plan. The plan was rock solid and delivered. As the business grew at a meteoric rate passing the $100 million dollar mark, Derby Management was there for us again, driving home the systematic approach to critical on-time execution of our sales plans.
CEO, Serono

The boot camp was valuable to me. It reinforced the good things we are already doing, but it also was a kick in the pants. It was very interesting to learn how the sales process has changed in recent years. I think I knew this subconsciously, but it was good to get it out in the open. This will help me as we organize the department in future years. You also had a very good mix of people there. I enjoyed meeting them and being challenged by them. And, of course, the Stratton hospitality was first rate.
Dave Voorhes, VP, Sales & Marketing, Lytron Corporation.

As a result of Damon and I attending, we have implemented a number of steps from the training that we learned in the Boot Camp in October with his team in NYC as well as rolled out some nice initiatives on a Regional perspective. The steps we have taken for the region have put us WAY ahead of the rest of the country and I feel that my team is ready and well planned for a great year.
David Acheson, Regional Director, MedPointe Pharmaceuticals

Our Customers Speak for Us...

I would like to thank you and your associates for holding what I consider to be the most valuable and enlightening sales training experience I have attended in years. As the Vice President of Sales of a technology solutions company that is growing at more than 30% year over year, I found the information, curriculum and guest lecturers to be superior to other events I have attended.
Jim Doyle, VP of Sales, Hybricon Corporation

I truly enjoyed the Bootcamp. The Derby Management team did a great job. I thought the content and dialogue was great and felt exhausted from so much thinking which is exactly what you promised.
Jen Harrington, VP Business Development, Trinity Communications

Thank you for hosting such a great camp. I left more energized than any vacation could ever provide..
Larry Walck, Director of Sales, Mack Molding

I have been meaning to drop you a short note to tell you how much I enjoyed your Boot Camp! One of the major things it did for me was to reinforce many of the practices that were already in place and added priority to some of them. Let me know about any other next step- boot camps. I would look forward to joining you.
Dan Micelli, Steinway & Sons Director of Retail Sales

Thanks for a great few days of intense Sales Boot Camp... it was a great group!
Couple of the concepts that I will share with my colleagues and implement:
1. Defining and executing a sales process for our business
2. Identifying better lead generating avenues... filling the pipeline
Bruce Forman, VP Sales, Advance Electron Beams
