If we focus at this time in this magical Christmas season in practicing just one belief, one skill, and one love for the year ahead, we will all be better salespeople, and, most probably, just better people.  ![122317 Christmas.jpg](https://www.derbymanagement.com/hubfs/122317%20Christmas.jpg)Simplicity is best expressed for me this morning in the new fallen Vermont snow at my house in the same valley that my family has lived in for over 250 years. As I looked at the new eight inches of snow that I shoveled last night and viewed early this morning, I was struck about the simplicity of Vermont, and what it really should take to live and work more simply...even in a complex time. Have a wonderful, warm and safe Christmas and holiday break!    [ ![Jack Derby](https://www.derbymanagement.com/hs-fs/file-13639936-jpg/images/signature0003-resized-600.jpg?t=1514037004226&width=79&height=58&name=signature0003-resized-600.jpg)](http://www.brainshark.com/derbymanagement/vu?pi=zFYznrXyTzFFz0) **[Head Coach ](https://www.linkedin.com/profile/view?id=56984&trk=nav_responsive_tab_profile) ** **[ Derby Management*...for 25 years*](http://www.brainshark.com/derbymanagement/vu?pi=zEBzAcsJPzFFz0)  -Sales & Marketing Productivity experts  -Business & Strategy Planning specialists  -Senior Management Coaches for CEOs & VPs ****Boston, MA 02117 Jack's Cell: 617-504-4222  [jack@derbymanagement.com](mailto:jack@derbymanagement.com)** Tags: [Sales Best Practices](https://www.derbymanagement.com/blog/topic/sales-best-practices), [Sales Management Best Practices](https://www.derbymanagement.com/blog/topic/sales-management-best-practices), [improving sales productivity](https://www.derbymanagement.com/blog/topic/improving-sales-productivity) ### Subscribe Here! ### Most Popular Posts ## Share this Page [![Share on Facebook](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/facebook-24x24.png)](http://www.facebook.com/share.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.derbymanagement.com%2Fblog%2Fsimple-is-always-better-have-a-wonderful-warm-safe-holiday%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dfacebook) [![Share on LinkedIn](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/linkedin-24x24.png)](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=True&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.derbymanagement.com%2Fblog%2Fsimple-is-always-better-have-a-wonderful-warm-safe-holiday%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dlinkedin) [![Share on Twitter](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/twitter-24x24.png)](https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?original_referer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.derbymanagement.com%2Fblog%2Fsimple-is-always-better-have-a-wonderful-warm-safe-holiday%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.derbymanagement.com%2Fblog%2Fsimple-is-always-better-have-a-wonderful-warm-safe-holiday%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Dtwitter&source=tweetbutton&text=Simple%20is%20Always%20Better%3A%C2%A0Have%20a%20wonderful%2C%20warm%20%26%20safe%20Christmas%21) [![Share on Email](https://static.hubspot.com/final/img/common/icons/social/email-24x24.png)](mailto:?subject=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fwww.derbymanagement.com%2Fblog%2Fsimple-is-always-better-have-a-wonderful-warm-safe-holiday%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail%20&body=Check%20out%20https%3A%2F%2Fwww.derbymanagement.com%2Fblog%2Fsimple-is-always-better-have-a-wonderful-warm-safe-holiday%3Futm_medium%3Dsocial%26utm_source%3Demail) ## Recent Blog Posts
