25: Two Thoughts Today

Posted by Jack Derby, Head Coach on Wed, Nov 24, 2010

It’s an interesting day since on one hand, you can accept the thought that the world is traveling or planning to travel later today; therefore, there’s no sense following up with your prospects in your December pipeline.

The other thought process is that it’s the perfect day to call your prospects since if they are not traveling, they’re probably going to be in the office this morning, uncluttered by meetings and cleaning up paperwork before the long weekend. Not a bad day to call is my feeling. The worst that can happen is that you leave a nice voicemail wishing them a Happy Thanksgiving. The best is that you get to talk to them on a slower pace day. That’s what happening to me this afternoon with a scheduled call from my HubSpot sales rep. A perfect time for him to sell and a great time for me to slow down from my normal hectic pace and actually listen to the pitch which I have not been able to do at any other time this month.

Whatever you decide to do today, make sure that you make tomorrow a special time and enjoy the day.

Good selling today.
